Bryan Bowers - President/Owner
AECC was founded by Mr. Bryan Bowers. Mr. Bowers has over 12 years in the environmental consulting industry and three years of experience running an Industrial Hygiene Group for large national environmental firms, prior to opening AECC. Over the past three years, Mr. Bowers has managed over 600 successful environmental consulting projects. His experience, knowledge, and sound approach have made him one of the top area Industrial Hygiene professionals. As such, Mr. Bowers has provided support on multiple legal cases and high profile projects, involving asbestos, lead-paint, polychlorinated biphenlys (PCBs), indoor air quality, and mold. Mr. Bowers currently holds the following certifications: NYSDOL/USEPA Asbestos Air Sampling Technician, NYSDOL/USEPA Asbestos Project Monitor, NYSDOL/USEPA Asbestos Building Inspector, NYSDOL/USEPA Asbestos Management Planner, NYSDOL/USEPA Asbestos Project Designer, OSHA 40 Hour Hazwoper, and OSHA 10 Hour Construction. Mr. Bowers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Le Moyne College.
Scott Saroff, CPG, PG - Vice President
Mr. Saroff is a Certified Professional Geologist with more than 30 years of professional geology, hydrogeology, environmental, and remediation experience, as a consultant for industry, utilities, and government. Mr. Saroff has served as a Project Manager or technical lead on more than 100 geology/hydrogeology related projects throughout the United States, including more than 40 in New York State. His experiences include brownfields redevelopment, environmental site assessments, remedial investigations/feasibility studies, remedial designs/remedial actions; data management and geographic information systems; litigation/legal support/expert testimony; petroleum site investigation; and environmental/engineering geophysics. He is considered an expert on innovative site characterization and remediation technologies. Mr. Saroff previously served as environmental scientist with the New York State Attorney General’s Office (Environmental Protection Bureau) and has served as a consultant to USEPA’s Environmental Response Team and USEPA Region 4 and 5, and for industry, utilities, and municipalities. He recently served as the President (two terms) of the Central New York Association of Professional Geologists (CNYAPG). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Biology (Forest Biology - Aquatic Ecology/Geology) from State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry (1977) and a Masters of Science degree in Geology from Syracuse University (1987). Mr. Saroff has chaired, co-chaired, and/or presented more than 50 professional papers regarding innovative investigation and remediation at various national technical conferences.*

Joseph S. Campisi - Vice President
Mr. Campisi has over 30 years of experience managing environmental liabilities on a wide array of commercial and industrial sites. As the former Environmental Manager for Warren Equities (Drake Petroleum), Mr. Campisi has intimate knowledge of petroleum clean-up projects in New York State and has had significant interactions / connections with the NYSDEC. Mr. Campisi has served as project lead on a variety of Superfund, brownfield, and voluntary cleanup projects across the U.S. Mr. Campisi has established a track record of conceptualizing innovative solutions for contaminated properties, enabling efficient pursuit of site closure and/or redevelopment. Mr. Campisi has had risk communication and community involvement experience on major Brownfield sites, MGP sites, and landfills. Mr. Campisi has a comprehensive background in the environmental industry with experience in due diligence, environmental compliance, EH&S auditing, EMS, air quality issues, hazardous waste projects (CERCLA and RCRA), solid and hazardous waste permitting and corrective action, wastewater permitting/conceptual design, engineering feasibility studies, remedial design, and implementation of remedial construction projects. Mr. Campisi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science from The Pennsylvania State University (1980), a Master of Arts degree in Geological Sciences from Binghamton University (1989), and an Executive Masters of Business Administration (General Management) from Loyola University (2000).
